Just fitted a VOLspeed 3 and like that I can select speed limit each time its activated, display in mph. Biggest plus was no countdown as required at end of Speedbox ride and no delay for motor power wimhcih people say happens with speedbox module. Unless discount is large I'd get a VOLspeed.

OK fitted! Took literally 5 mins to fit as I didn't have to remove the crank arm. Cable tied it all in place. Pwered up and accessed set up and selected the 28km/h option for a Pedelec. Then activated the dongle and set it to 20.5mph (though I see there is a 19.9 that I'll use in future)...

Ordered mine last Mon and arrived today. I'll try to fit this evening and take some pics.

Yeah thanks for the feedback! We'll it's not an error 504. I'd have suggested fully remove and refit in case of loose contacts but you've tried that. Hopefully a one off faulty dongle. Keep us updated! Thanks!

Has anyone got any experience of the Peartune dongle? It claims to not require the countdown, displays real mileage and mileage value is retained if the dongle is removed?

No he is on a Gen 3. I am still waiting for some good feedback on Gen 4 CX Tuning. Peartune state they have a number of their dongles working fine on Gen 4 so I am tempted to give that a go.
