Suffice it say MTB's and eMTB's are the worst investment you can make and one of the issue I have with the whole industry. Everyone wants newer/better and your 2 or 3 year old bike will be lucky to bring 50% IMO.
I agree in supporting my LBS and I have a Trek and specialized dealer nearby. The issue is, they never stock the high dollar eMTB's because they just don't sell around here. I will end up getting one from another dealer and hopefully getting it serviced by my local dealer....:) Although short...
Yeah the Levo comp is probably going to win but I will be on my X1 until spring so hopefully some will be available unless I decide to sell something and make a move.....
eMTB's are a natural progression for us old riders, haha. After my last trip to the Smokies in TN on my DR650 and exeperiencing a pretty hard crash, I decided that my future in hard core off roading was going to be on an eMTB. Same rush, lower speeds and great exercise. I will never give up...
I am on a Luna X1 which has a crazy powerful motor.....my only complaint is I have no way to adjust the assist levels.....its like 2 is not enough and 3 is too much, lol. But it will climb anything....and I mean anything, ,lol.
Thanks guys...yeah the Turbo Levo Comp is definitely on the list. The problem is, local Bike stores have no stock let alone eMTB stock and that includes Trek or Specialized, etc. I would have to order it online and have it shipped and then patronize my LBS for support/accessories, hehe.
Hey guys,
Been doing a ton of research on eBikes and looking for opinions on what are some of the best mid range priced eMTB's that are available in the U.S. If you had 6500 Dollars to spend what would it be?
Just started riding my eMTB (Luna X1) about 3 months ago and so far it has been an extremely fun experience! I have over 30 years of off/on road motorcycle experience and at the ripe age of 55 I am having a lot of fun on my eBike! So far my Luna X1 has been pretty good after a couple upgrades...
