    It's brand new It's brand new? Take it back. Ask for replacement or refund not repair unless it's trivial. Once you accept repair, it's yours, my understanding of the law.

    if you can't negotiate a reduced price you might be able to negotiate upgrades (parts etc) instead. £100 discount to you costs the shop £100 off their bottom line, right where it hurts. but a £100 spare part to you might cost the shop only £50. good to support your local shop if they provide...

    partly to get press coverage. journalists don't usually write "nothing's happened recently". and if company A is releasing annual updates, company B is largely obliged to do it too.

    In 20 years riding I never wore a full face except for a few minutes during an uplift day at BikePark Wales. Those few minutes ended abruptly with my head on the rocks and it paid for itself easily.

    I'm considering this. It's currently £5100 for a Comp Carbon, £4k for the base model. Weight does matter a bit, but let's be honest with ourselves and look at our waistbands first.

    dno, on reflection it may have been an embn when the Welsh guy was talking about real wheel sizes and chainstay effects. so I'm going to check those!
