I've had my 10litre Osprey for a good few years and the current version (largely unchanged) has just won best in category in MBR. Its got a built in tool roll and back protection and so comfortable, I've never thought about moving down to anything smaller
55 so been riding a good number of year. Using an MTB for fitness was a big thing for me so was originally anti EMTB but along with the motorhome, its he best thing I've bought. I'm doing many more miles and it even prompted me to upgrade my manual bike so using that more as well
I recently purchased some Ride Concept Powerlines when I couldn't get any 5.10's and been very impressed with both the grip on flats and their waterproofness (a lot cheaper too). Not perfect but very good in most conditions except the worse
