i have a relay and its awesome. and yes the anti squat isnt as much as my SC bike but its great especially on an ebike. Ive ridden their other bikes too and honestly its all pretty good - though, indeed, i will lockout the rear on flat steep ground while i wouldnt on the SC, but for everything...
hum had i read this sooner id spy the factory haha. they always take em out and you can see them lol.
specialized is the same, i saw the current model about a week before release another youtuber was demoing it (in northstar that time but they just pick it up at the Santa Cruz specialized...
ive an xo and i can even ride it dry and dirty (oops.. ) with no real problem. ive also seen some transmissions that were a pain to adjust (even redoing the whole setup - as transmission is a bit finicky with the derailleur installation) - im assuming theres some QA issues tbh.
100%. I think of it as a computer mouse with acceleration on vs off. It takes a while to get used to acceleration, same for progression on a shock, and each frame/shock combo differs. Even on coil, your frame still adds progression, but the ramp up is still much less than on air. There's pros...
yep dont buy a bike thats far too big or small for you (M is far too small, L or XL is ok, L is prolly right), it doesnt matter how much of a good deal it is because it will _suck_ to ride. not worth a penny unless you resell it immediately.
I bought my from my LBS transition dealer.. which also ordered from Fazua. I called Transition originally who told me to do that. It took a month to get it approx, I think they shipped from Germany.
Curious which one you used and if it works well. For general riding this doesn't seem to be needed but for commuting to the trail it seems like a good idea, the bike is much harder to pedal at the same speed as my trail bike on the road and feels a bit slow vs cars and other riders (which, funny...
clicking in the motor area is common in this bike and it does take removing the motor cleaning greasing and reinserting + torque to spec w/ locktite (not terrible but kinda annoying). much better without clicking though.
i tow 165 and 210lbs riders ex. bikes + my 180lbs and im usually in pink. tow works but its much slower than full power bikes.if both riders were like 140lbs i imagine its a lot faster. 165 to 210 makes a huge diff for example - i can use blue sometimes with the 165 guy but not really...
you pushed the button inward for too long :)
scrolling green, blue, purple are all "turbo" mode'
scrolling white is "walk mode"
because the control ring is on floating magnets, dirt go in and make it sticky .. which makes this more likely to happen. i find that cleaning it + blowing air in it...
The bash ring is a separate piece - but it takes a special chainring, so yeah, wouldn't work. With that said its also a fairly heavy thing and your mileage may vary. I did hit a few times on it so far, which is more than i normally would, not sure why, the bike is low but not that low. Either...
not addressed to me but i rode both and i like both, they feel fairly similar, the relay pnw mullet being a tad more playful in practice (which can be good or bad depending on your preferences). id be happy with either bike geo wise and suspension wise personally. some differences, but same type...
