Cheers mate. The bike bailed me out on one potentially serious error. I went off a drop way to fast and landed a few feet further down than I should have. Normally I would have been catapulted off, as I wasn't ready but the Fox suspension just soaked it all up. Needed almost the entire travel...
Car does fit into car with the pedals off, so I have a work around for now. However tbh I think a van is the long term goal as I want to be able to travel/sleep in it too.
Just been on my first ride with the Decoy. Was raining and pitch black, trails were absolutely trashed but it was fucking...
First time trying to fit the bike in the car this morning, definitely should have tried a test fit last night! I have an A4 saloon and my analogue bike slips in easily with the front wheel off. The decoy was a whole different challenge :ROFLMAO:. The handle bars were catching the boot ceiling...
Yeah I guess it was more aesthetically unpleasing than anything, given it’s a 6 grand bike. Still it’s a very minor gripe and I love the bike still, it’s a stunner, YT have absolutely nailed it. :)
Aye got it all setup this evening. Will dial it in after a few rides out this week, buzzing to give it a go. Just need to get cushcore and go tubeless now. :)
Hmm okay will see how I get on. Given the rave reviews I suppose it’s clearly not been a problem for anyone yet anyway!
Got everything assembled, bike looks great. Need to finish setting up the suspension but will do that when I go for a ride. Definitely need to adjust my drive train though, not sounding as smooth as it should do and some of the changes don’t seem clean.
There’s quite a large gap from frame to...
Bike has arrived and I’m just unboxing it. I may be being stupid but what is this for? Was loose in the box.
Everything looks good, box wasn’t too beaten up. Going to apply invisi-frame tomorrow when I’m home. :)
I've found the correct spec etc but unfortunately struggling to find a UK retailer. When I go on the cushcore website it just redirects me to local bike shops, none of whom have any in stock. Will keep ringing around, sure someone has them. :)
That being said Tredz do have some you can buy in...
Do you have tracking for the main bike parcel? I know UK deliveries come through DHL. Hoping they provide an accurate delivery date so I can book a day off work to receive it.
I'm used to "direct to consumer" customer support being slightly lax. My current bike is a Vitus and I've had mixed experiences when dealing with CRC customer service for issues. Luckily I have a LBS who's extremely helpful and is happy to fix most issues for very small cost. :)
Did Berkshire Cycles ever open up their specialized e-bike only shop? I remember seeing Chris talking about it in a video with Rob, was going to be the first in the world.
I'm from Sheffield originally so lived near the peak district for years. We only did basic routes though and just rented bikes most of the time, that way we could chill out and have a drink too. (y)
Never been to Aston Hill but will definitely check it out. Been mainly riding the Bow Brickhill...
New member from Milton Keynes checking in.
I'm 31 years old and been riding BMX/skateboard for most of my life. Was slowly tailoring off due to joints aching a bit, so decided to take up MTB around 3 months ago with some mates from work. MK has some decent trails in it so we can go for a few...
