Used these for the first time last week and they were warm, dry and very comfy. Grip on the flats were OK, not the best but not slippy in the wet either. Can live with that. Feet were dry even after hosing down with the Worx Hydoshot.

You need to remove the crank arm and then use the correct spider tool for your motor to tighten the castellated lock ring (it's a left hand thread). A tool worth having IMO: Bosch Gen 4 Lockring tool, sprocket nut tool -
