anyone try a DHX2 at 65mm? The screws are eff'ed to change the travel on mine and changing it will be a huge prob so thinking about running it at 65mm.
My bike is a large size, so if anyone has tried, let me know please.
Oh I am sorry to hear, moving on to greater and bigger things? Not sure what exactly would qualify as that, coming from a Bullit... lol
As far as mounting hardware, its just simple bearings that need to be pressed out and pressed into the new shock right?
Hey Gutch, did you reuse the mounting hardware from your stock shock, or did you purchase new mounting hardware?
If you purchased it happen to have a link? Thinking of going the same route as you, DHX2.
How have you liked the dhx2?
Super interested to know about this also, the SC Bullit is surprisingly easy to pedal uphill, did 1k climb this weekend without any issues and would like to do that more often, but without the battery rather than just having it off.
Thanks Deftones, and Gutch!
Exactly what I needed to know. I will plan accordingly. I know the stand over height on this bike is very good. So maybe slammed isn't 100% needed.
