I’m an idiot. I have some 35mm rise oneups on the bike I’m selling so swapped them out to give them a try.

Did you give it a go? I didn’t have time to do any greasing before riding today so still creaky. Annoyingly my front tyre lost a load of air but still managed to limp home with what it kept inside! Will get on to the creak this week to try track it down.

What rise bars are people running? Thinking of going higher than my current 20mm ones.

I’m not a very aggressive rider and stick to the more faster flowing less technical types of trails so not sure whether to do enduro front and back or go trail for the back.

How are people getting on with their kryptotal tyres? What casings are you running? Was thinking of trying the Enduro softs?

Trying out some more tyres from Wolfpack. Had a Speed and Cross on the old Fuel EX during the brief try UK season which I really liked so giving these Enduro ones a go in 2.4 flavour front and rear this weekend. Mounted pretty nice and no sign of leaks so far!

Silly question, I know the seat post is 34.9 so does that mean I need a 34.9 seat post clamp or does the clamp size refer to the entire diameter of the seat post? Actually think the regular fuel is a 39.7, so maybe that’s it?!

Sorted out the cabling to a tidy enough state. Hoping to get the headset gap sorted over weekend and my local mechanic is currently giving the carbon rims a service so they will be ready next week.

This is what my bike has arrived like. I can't see any fix and the bearings are as far in the frame as they can be. Its like the cover hasnt been designed to be long enough!

My 9.5 has an alarmingly big gap at the headset. I took off the stem and spacers etc and I can’t see any fix. The bearing does not sit far enough in the frame and the cover is not deep enough to cover the gap.
