Since this is a heavily subsidised forum by various manufacturers, I can only advice to post relevant info on an different forum.

Actually, the forum costs are covered by adverts, subscriptions and patreon. Manufacturers have ZERO influence on the forum.

Images are not allowed because there is an active embargo in place which all forums/publications and distributors should be adhering to.

Many of the specifications have already been repeatedly leaked here and elsewhere so it's pointless deleting information here which is available all over the internet.

Also to note, the moderators act entirely INDEPENDENTLY only trying to follow the forum rules/guidelines and keep everything friendly and peaceful :)

its not a free speech forum then, as the embargo is signed by an individual, not the users who clearly and freely want to be able to post pictures they have taken with their cameras. I would make sure that this point is written into the t an c of teh forum and you clearly state it is not a place for free speech.

The motor and battery are lighter and not by a small amount.
There are key weight savings made throughout the Amflow to make it lighter. The tyres (as you say) crank arms, stem, bars, brakes and the wheels are pretty light too.
Guess that’s why it’s classed as trail bike and not an Enduro style bike.

400 grams is alot on 24 kgs bike? That's less than 2%...

Add the fact that Bosch battery is removable so I find it realistically negligible. Curious where spesh will land compared to others.

Let's not hide it, Amflow is lighter because of tyres and lighter parts and especially the tyres.

Anyways, for anyone who hasn't saw Brian Cahil latest embt shootout, I highly recommend it. Maybe they could be wrong in some places but one thing it's for sure, it's not biased!!! As long as well 95% of their insights are over how bikes ride which matters the most.

This is a privately owned forum, not a publicly owned forum and as such you are here at the whim of the owner who can ban you at any time, for any (or even no) reason. If you don't like it, don't use it.

Do you have any pictures you took with your own camera? I strongly suspect that anyone who has pics has signed an embargo agreement directly with Spesh...

MBR had to put decent tyres on it, added a kilo instantly.

Lets be honest, ebike racing is less than 5% of total sales. And I'm generous here.

What minds me as well, 95% of the AMF reviewers start with raw power, 120 nm crap etc. Very few mention the under average range or the bike ride. Of course here until we see anything official it's only leaked numbers to be talked about but I just feel emtbs are going after a different goal.

1. Make them cheaper
2. Make them more reliable
3. Make them lighter
4. Improve the range if possible with the ones above
5. Ride quality is paramount.

Is it only me that looks for something like this in ebikes or I'm not alone? Very few brands try to follow these guidelines and I believe it's not them going sideways is the market demands.
Well wait a few weeks & you will see that 4 out of 5 of your wishes get ticks from you

Your graph/image literally states the battery/combo are 7% lighter.

A £6k Amflow with heavier tyres and stronger stem is 21kg.

The new Levo has a challenge to retain the title of "Best Bike" as it has so many targets to achieve.

Lighter than a G3, maybe lighter than the AMF it is a trail bike
More powerful than a G3, equal at least to the AMF
Smaller profile, certainly smaller than a G3
Cheaper......unlikely; seems to achieve the above will be circa £14k

I would guess the Levo G4 has Whyte, Trek and various other brands nailed but like it or loathe it, the AMF is a real fly in the ointment, especially starting at £6k

Honestly, I really don´t understand these embargo things. For me it´s very clear: it will look like the Levo SL and Stumpjumper 15 without the sidearm design, it will have the genie shock, Specialized surely will react with a new motor that is similar strong, if not even stronger than the engines of the competitors, it will have less (compared to the Levo Gen. 3) and absolutely competitve weight. And I´m quite sure that it will have something really special that makes the difference to the other brands and competitors. By the way: I expect all these things also for the next Levo SL.

Honest request please from anyone who has the picture of the new levo - can you send to me in private? I would like to put a reservation as early as now and deciding whether to get this or the new Bullit. Thank you in advance.

I was reffering to the percentege off the mass diference between the motors reported to the total mass of the bike, 400 grams out of 23-24 kilograms is 1,6 - 1,7 percent . Would you feel that weight being low and centered on the bike while ridding ? I honestly doubt it. Light is good but this is not a game changer.

21kg with shitty dps shock and 36fork , Sam's modified AMF has 22,6kg, and thats the weight of 2023 S works levo +-

I'm using what I've seen as a refference, the Mondraker I've posted above is 23.8 kg (my pedals are a tad heavier) with a heavy coil and decent parts, except the carbon wheels which are 1900 grams anyway so nothing crazy. Considering this bike on the upper models come with a full cabon build , which is 500 grams we get to a difference of 700 grams. A lighter coil, some lighter cranks , and we are there, close to each other.

20 vs 24 kgs is a difference that many could feel it.

22 vs 23 , I doubt it . Really curious what the Levo brings.

Looks Like a Levo SL with bigger downtube!
Heavier then a Vala or Levo Gen3

A couple of questions that maybe someone could answer:
* Is the mode controller wireless?
* Is there a new "auto" or adaptive mode?

details....Hopefully the downtube SWAT is just a compartment accessed within the common side battery door. I am envisioning a simple internal divider/ rib that creates a storage compartment just above the battery, with the battery being positioned as low as possible in the frame dowtube. Not a fan of the frame Swat compartment on the Stumpy (as accessed by the silly water bottle mount lid). Cannot see this working on the Levo if the bottle cage is intended to carry a range extender.
