Not to forget, Ducati is famous for moto cross motorcycles……🙄
Not to forget, KTM is $840,000,000 USD in debt.
Maybe motorcycle pricing is not that realistic long term

Specialized USA launched their Spring Sale a few days ago, maybe that's a good sign?

My LBS said they usually find out 3 months in advance of a new bike launch, and they haven't heard anything about Gen4 Levo, so maybe that's not a great sign?

I weigh 100kg but I ride like I am 200kg. That bike wouldn’t last a month with me. The fork and stem are for xc or light riders with finesse . The trails I ride can best be described as rubble with rock rolls and g outs. Let’s be real, it’s a trail bike.
.

You’d be surprised if you actually tried. I weigh 100kg also, and ride chunky DH trails with decent drops to flat and it’s been flawless so far. Just add a burlier shock, fork and cranks. It smashes.

the amflow reminds me of when the orbea rise came out, great power, battery etc light weight. Like the amflow it was a trail frame, it even looks very similar to the amflow. Exaclty same thing happened people put big forks on, changed linkages etc to make it what they wanted/burlier. New orbea rise came out, coil, travel increase everything everyone wanted and no one seemed to care this time around, hardly hear it mentioned. This will happen to the amflow, the next one will tick all the boxes but by then (like with the rise) the market will have caught up.

The new levo comes out in april, has 420nm and a glove box inside the battery.

That’s true, but cherry picking. The same could be said of the Levo SL and G3 Levo, except people are still talking about them. I did it with mine of both of those. People are over-stroking Valas and almost all Kenevos by now I’ll have been over stoked.

People will always adapt a bike to their needs and choose a bike based on how they can adapt it to their needs.

My Amflow is 2kg heavier than when it started, but so much better for it, for what I ride. And still 2.5kg lighter than my Crestline.

The logic of over forking levo sl g3 etc can be the same thing, but what im trying say is the orbeas weight and power was what drew people in. What im trying to highlight is the amflow is a desirable package as it offers something no one else does, which at the time the orbea did also. The am flow is popular due to its weight and motor package not the frame, same with orbea rise. The amflow at the moment is a make do for people wanting the power and weight right now, no ones going jesus christ that frame is what i always wanted.

Yep def agree. I bought the bike for the value and the motor, and for the parts I had on hand.
Though I would say all brands are guilty of adding under-specced parts to reduce claimed weight. Mostly tyres, as this can easily save over 500g. Every bike I’ve bought has ended up weighing significantly more than claimed.

The Amflow frame is not spectacular. Though it is quite good and can far better than the haters would like to think. The motor and integrations are however amazing, as is the value.

I do think they should sell an enduro spec so people like me don’t have to swap everything over. I think the only thing original on mine right now is the headset!

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the amflow slowly fades into obscurity while other manufacturers take on the avinox motor. Let the bike manufacturers that know how to make bikes make the bikes and let dji concentrate on the motor, software and battery Tech.

Dont get me wrong i dont think its a bad frame/bike. I just know that no one would be rushing to buy amflow if it had a bosch motor in and similar figures to other emtbs. The amflow is the motor package/weight, the frame is a make do.

Frame balance, stiffness and quality are more important than extra nm, that doesn’t help you when you are doing what the bike was designed for… heading downhill as fast as possible

Is that not where Forbidden will be coming in? I think there will a few "Enduro" brands running the DJI and good for them. Its seems like a brilliant system. And more choice the better for the industry.

Theres another thread on the forum where someone in the know has said forbidden are only doing the EDRUID so trail bike 150/130
The Edruid will be 140/150 or 150/160 and will debut this year (actually next month).
The Edreadnought will be 160/170 or 170/180 but will debut next year only.

Back to the Levo, it's a real miss imo that it will be only offered in 150 rear. Don't understand why not offer 160-170 rear ...

The forum moderator made a post (Post #1,662) that hinted that there was a Gen4 and a Gen 4B. I feel like they know something we don't. Maybe just means carbon/alloy but could also mean long/short travel. I know other posters have said info they have heard only suggests a 150/160 bike but who knows.

It’s a good thing the bike is so cheap…. You forgot stem and tires.

Presumably because the Kenevo didn’t sell as well as the Levo? And because no matter how heroic we think we are, 150 works well for most riders?

Yeah, my Levo works well for me. But when I'm on my downhill bike, the feeling is totally different. I can mess up much more on the DH bike than on the Levo and still be fine. Also, the DH bike offers another level of comfort, which is one of the reasons I'd like to have more travel on my Levo.

Yeah, I assume it didn't sell well. But it was offered only in alloy and 27.5", which, in my opinion, is one reason it didn't sell well.
Traded my Levo in for a Kenevo and I never looked back. 27.5 plus tires rule on e bikes.
