The entire motor system is going to double in cost due to Tariffs. Plus another 10% on Spain.
The price might be outrageous on all DJI bikes in the USA, at least until the orange buffoon is voted out.
I'm so curious to try this sort of geo and the bike is on my very short list.
I spot two issues:
1) The US POTUS. The motor system might have just increased in price about 100%.
2) No chain ring protection, which is weird to me.
If you tilt your bars back at the same angle as your HTA, yes, you lose reach.
I don't. Since when I stand and have lots of impacts I'm over the bars I have the bars straight. So 100% of my bar rise increases 'effective' stack while making no difference in 'effective' Reach.
I understand Trig...
I hear/ read this over and over but just don't follow.
They have this thing called 'handlebar rise'. In fact, OneUp just released their new bar offering a 50mm rise version. I've always ran the least number of under stem spacers possible.
So as I result, I keep the same reach while choosing my...
Maybe it's not as far off as I recall although I feel a large should have a 485-490mm reach. Is that 467mm on the E-Core model as sometimes the long travel model ends up shorter?
CS is 456mm at full extension? Will it grow around 20mm at full compression like other Forbiddens?
Like I said, I'm...
No, it doesn't. Manufacturers can get identical suspension behavior regardless of if the shock is horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or upside down. It's just packaging.
What I was told, was pretty far off of the DV2. I wish it was close to the DV2.
I can probably in general describe what I saw. The L (required for a decent dropper insertion) had the Reach of a size Medium bike and the stack of a size XL. It had the chainstays, well nearly longer than anything...
Yah, so this matches my info (well, the 150/ 160 is called the E-Core) that I've had for 2 months or so. I also have geo and what not. But I have kept it to myself as I was asked too.
The brand and the powertrain is incredibly interesting to me. However the geo I was told sort of freaked me out...
I sell commercial trucks. We are still awaiting our next wave of tariff surcharges as we already took a nice hit. Just to be clear, an American assembled semi-truck, still has many many foreign parts.
It's ignorant to think that (just a made up example as all the parts on these trucks come from...
If that's the case, then I was likely given incorrect dimensions. Bl which is totally possible.
I'm not knocking the machine and I'm real excited to see it. It just threw me off a bit.
Well, I usually don't put much stock in demoing bikes as the setup is always so far off.
But there is going to be a demo not terribly far away that I'm going to need to go and ride before doing anything.
I just wanted an E version of the Druid with a bit more travel. The numbers that were told to me, were radically different in terms of Reach and Chainstay length than the Druid.
It would not be right to share specifics and also these were possibly prelim numbers, but the Reach on the size L...
I'm really into certain aspects of this bike (i.e. the DJI & the HP), but I did get the geo numbers, and they really threw me off, enough to scare me in to not placing a deposit.
I look forward to the reviews and very well might still end up on one, but I lean towards more conservative geo...
