Anyone knows who makes (brand) a hitch rack similar to the Thule T2?
Unfortenatly, the T2 rack is only compatible with 2' hitch receptacle (more used on USA).

But have you disassemble it from the bracket?
There are 6 bolts in total, and you need to disassemble the entire bracket.
Then torque them (no need for torque wrench. Just use force, and your judgement)
Clean everything (battery side and plug at the bracket).

Yes the connector has some play (small play!) and it's not firmly connected to the upper bracket.
I would put hands on the bike and start removing the upper bracket and using Strong Threadlock + torque all bolts
For sure is the connector or the cables that are damaged.
Either way, you need to remove the upper bracket, and check the connectors (bracket-battery + cable-bracket).
Remove any dust or dirt.
