It’s been a long time coming but finally all planets are in alignment and I’ve got a Merida eOne Forty on order and picking up as soon as I get my cycle to work voucher. I’ve gone for the pretty basic 500 model. I’ll be honest it wasn’t my first choice but due to supply issues beggars can’t be choosers just now. However seeing it in the flesh it’s a gorgeous bike and cannot wait to pick it up. Also the more I read up on it the more im liking it.
i ride mainly blue/red route at Glentress but def prefer fast and flowy as opposed to rock, rooty technical descents so think the 140 shock will be plenty enough for me. Currently ride a hard tail with only 120 on the front so this will be a huge step up.
Is it pretty straight forward to update to the display to the sc-8000? Mine comes with the Sc-e500 but think the 8000 with the separate left hand switch just looks so much nicer.
Anyway can’t wait to get out and hit some trails.
