is it possible? not necessary interested in a coil but does switching to the sam linkage make it possible for more rear travel? (size M)
ive upgraded the fork from a 150 to 160 (but axle to crown only increased 2mm) and i want to bring it up to 170mm and increase rear travel too.
what is the experience with increasing the front travel from 150-170? i bought a non fender compatible fork so its about 6-7mm shorter axle-crown and i can drop a headset spacer so rider position would only be 2mm higher than the original on a 170mm fork, wouldn't that negate the increase in front travel? a bit slacker, seatube a bit steeper and a higher BB. Slacker and higher BB is better for steep tecky rock trails anyway, and i hardly sit in the saddle anyway?
