I just paid the going rate for the Voima. So 0% discount.

But discount or no discount in this instance is relative. I purchased direct from the manufacturer and am importing the bike. If that bike was for sale in a bike shop in NZ It would be for sale for thousands more!...

No discounts in small local dealers in anywhere I check out. In fact their parts and consumables prices are horrendous . I love shopping local . A few weeks ago I couldn't even get a tyre or tube in the size i wanted for a gravel bike in the four shops I tried on the way home from Aviemore. Times are still hard for a lot of shops.

Went to a LBS looking to purchase a Rail 7. Turned out they had no stock in my size or colour. Rather than see me walk away, offered 10% off a $NZ11400 Rail 9 which made it $NZ900 more than the RRP Rail 7. This was during Covid time when nothing was discounted and long waits for stock. They even offered $0 down 36m interest free so couldn't say no and super happy with my purchase.

Crazy price 12 grand for a bike . I paid over 6 for levo expert that was with a grand off in 2919. The gravel bike I just bought had a third off.

0% last summer, they wouldn't even throw in some cheap free pedals on a 6k bike.
I think the bike was discounted to 5500 about a week later too, across every website and store so must have been Whyte doing a promotion
Next time I buy online

I got 22% off a Trek Rail 9.9 AXS from Evans Cycles in 2020. I returned it under their "30 day satisfaction guarantee", and swapped it for a Levo SL Expert. At that time, the Levo SL had been announced 4 days prior, so was a brand new bike.
Evans moved the 22% discount to the Levo SL, which I was quite surprised about.

Last May, I bought the Levo SL Gen 2 "frame only" from my local store. I've bought a few bikes from them over the years (mainly kids), but have a decent relationship with them. I'd been speaking to them about the Levo SL Gen 2 for months, and was in on the day it was announced to order it. I asked for discount, and it was a straight up no. I paid the £5750 for the frame, and they gave me a £120 in store voucher as a thank you. It bought me 2 tyres!!

Kenevo SL Gen 2 S WORKS. £12000 50% off.

That's insane. The Gen 2 Kenevo SL is only a few months old. Almost the same price as the frame only option, and you're getting an XX AXS Transmission, Fox Factory suspension, AXS dropper and Roval Carbon wheels... as well as brakes, bars, stem etc.

Santa Cruz has 25% on some models, and even more on last year's...
My son just bought a last year model Bullitt at a great price.

A friend just got 49% off a Trek 9.8 exe and 0% finance. That said, his demo bike was one of the bikes stolen last night and recovered today (finalising size), so he nearly had an incredible deal on a bike he only rode once!

I get bikes at cost if I buy from my mate, only problem with that is he’s in the US and I’m in the UK. Shipping an e-bike with a battery is a no-go and he only sells one e-bike with an easily removable battery, it wasn’t one I was interested in. I’m not sure what percentage off it ends up being as I’ve never really asked him. I recently bought a Yeti SB160 frame/fork from him though, I had it shipped over with BikeFlights. I still saved about £800 over the frame only price here even after paying all the fees.

Not sure percentage but I paid £3600 for my 2022 levo base Carbon a few months ago. I then added some parts I got at decent prices. Like fox 38s I got for £640

Not sure it still on Balfles bike £5000 off
Not sure what school you went to, but 50% off a £12000 bike would be £6000 off… leaving it costing £6000.
The bike is £12500 and has 40% off - down to £7500.

Although still a hefty discount, it’s not as good as expected! After I read your post the other day I scoured the internet trying to find a Kenevo SL gen 2 for £6k… but failed!

Discount in picture below from when I pre-ordered my 2023 Orbea Wild M-Team back in November 2022. (IMO a great deal for being a brand new, unreleased bike with a lot of hype surrounding it. AND I could customize it quite a bit as well. [longer fork, shorter stem, taller bars, longer dropper, custom color, battery size, etc...])

I opted for the smaller 625Wh battery, so it actually ended up JUST under 80.000 Norwegian krone (under 6800 Euro)) I could therefore tell my wife I payed "70k ish" without feeling like I was lying. (She probably added another 20k in her mind though :p )
