Decoy Power issues

Morning all, a heads up on an issue that I encountered. My Decoy 4 is 18 months old and until now had no issues.
Sent the bike for a service and on pick up the mech asked if batt was charged as it failed to power up.
Batt indicated 3/4 lights and the power button illuminated…..but no display and no power to motor. Tried the usual, battery charged to 100% connectors cleaned etc. Display would power when connected to desktop computer. It turns out that that as my Decoy has EP8 motor and the older e7000 display, this means there is an extra set of connectors between battery and headset. This is a converter for the older display. It seems that if the cables are pulled outside where they enter the headtube, crash, clean or service the connectors can disconnect. Hope this helps.

I had an issue similar situation, there is a screw that connects the display to the motor that can come loose, lock tight is the answer.
