Ok - I’ll rephrase that.
For ME, it’s pointless. Not just because of the +4 mins battery over a 3 hour ride… but the fact that my rides are only ever max 4 hours anyway. The battery lasts 20+ hours fully charged (I think). I generally charge it every 3 or 4 rides, so I’m never in a position...
I've got one of these for washing / oiling too. It was about £30 off Amazon, and works great.
I've done some minor gear tuning and adjusting brakes etc in there, but use my Feedback Pro stand for any "real" work as it's more stable.
I had the Edge 800, 810, 820, 830 and now the 840 solar. I'm a garget freak!
The 830 was a huge leap up from the 820 due to the Trailforks integration.
The 830 to 840 was a waste of time really, and the Solar function is practically pointless. I could get the same extra battery gained by solar...
I've seen people talking about these before. Been tempted to try one for my bike carrier to see if it makes it any easier when trying to get a clamping spot when I have 2 or 3 bikes on it. The linked one is only suitable for 15kg though - and the OP's bike is 24kg? Probably fine for a bike...
Some great info in there.
Just an FYI... I was in contact with i9 over the last few days as a bearing in my wheels seemed to be making a racket. The wheels are i9 carbon EN310/325, and are only about 6 months old, and hadn't seen nearly as much action as I'd have liked. They're sending me...
I have my SQ bars with a 12° backsweep, so I'm the opposite - I want them closer to me!
That's why I changed from the ENVE M9's. to the SQ.
Just wondered, as everything I had seen before had ENVE on the right and M7/8/9 on the left... and your bars look like they're 'sweeping' away.
If it...
I can't help but think you've got that ENVE handlebar on backwards?
I ran one for about 2 years (before changing to an SQ Labs one), and my logo / model labels faced outwards and were the other way round (ENVE on the right / M7 on the left). When I look on their website just now, it agrees with...
I think the E version is heavier and more robust (stronger casing) for taking the extra weight of an ebike.
Mine is under 17kg, so I can run the standard ones without any issues.
I put the 'non E' Racing Line tyres on my bike on Friday to test out at the weekend.
I've been using the Wild Enduro F/R for years now, and wondered if the Racing Line version was any better.
It was a cracking sunny day for Scotland on Saturday... warm and dry, with the trails dry and dusty. A...
Not that specifically... but I'm 6ft 2" on an S4 with a 29" rear.
I never even tried the 27.5" rear due to my size... and the fact I built mine from a frameset and couldn't be bothered changing the 3" tyre on my 27.5" stumpy to try it out!
For me, the S4 in full 29'er is super nimble... but...
Have a look on Trailforks. There’s a loop that’s about 11 miles that takes you up a Land Rover type track to the top, and then it’s good fun from there!
If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a look. Especially on a nice day.
