Hi!

Okay, I know this is a common question that comes up often, but sometimes you just want to feel like you’re making the right choice…

I’m buying an Orbea Rise M10 Lt tomorrow. I’m torn between sizes M and L.

181.5 cm, 87 kg, 85 cm RAD. Normal arms, legs, and torso.

I enjoy technical trails that are occasionally tight, but at the same time, I also like some speed now and then. I’m a bit more downhill-oriented but mostly ride in the woods, with pure downhill maybe once a month.

What worries me is that L feels cumbersome and that M might be too small.

Is it safe to go for an M?

Regards!

I have an Orbea Rise H15 2022 size M, I'm 175cm and feel this size ok for me, with little too small feeling. I'm pretty sure I would chose L with my next Orbea (if it ever happend). The size is ok when I ride while sitting, but when in attack possition I feel I'm to far front of the bike.

I am 178 cm. I test rode a large and it felt good. A medium would work too, but I think I’d go large if I was going to order.

180cm tall, fairly average proportions, I ride an XL with very slightly narrower handlebars. Love the fit for xc and trails.

Don't rely on other peoples experiences, try them for size in real life.
