Yamaha PW-X3, power delivery on the flat?

Hi all!

I'm looking at a couple of bikes with the Yamaha PW-X3.
I've experience with the PW-X2 which I liked however when riding along on the flat the power tended to ramp up & down constantly, which my current Bosch Gen 4 does not do. Does anyone have experience with the PW-X3, and could confirm if it does the same?
