Yamaha PW-ST grinding noise when decelerating

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to ebikes so I'm not entirely sure if this is "normal" but I've definitely noticed my motor noise has became rather "grindy" recently, but only when I'm coming off the gas and largely in lower gears / eco mode. The motor is new-ish, only 100km on the odo. It's a Yamaha PW-ST which I understand is a little noisy. I'm just worried I might have received a lemon. Cheers.

I am in the same boat, but with pw-x3, any news?
It has 2 noises, the normal one when pedaling and the other when I stop pedaling o when I reach the limit, but not always, like you said a grinding noise...
Feels weird...

Honestly I'm under the impression that this is normal operation, I've come across two other people with Yammy motors and they all more or less sound the same. Some are louder than others, mine included, but I don't think it's anything to worry about as long as it's functioning as it should.
