XT 8050 Cranks on 2022 Orbea Rise

Hi all,

I picked up a bargain on the chain reaction sale and got a set of XT 8050 cranks for my Orbea Rise H30. I just fitted them (wth no apparent problems), but have just seen some other forums posting that they are not compatible. As I say, mine fitted absolutely no bother, so I’m curious as to why they are apparently not suitable?

Any ideas?

They are definitely no good mate, you will find they are not gripping on much of the spline on the EP8 motor you really are risking damaging the motor, you need 8150 or EM900 cranks
