I have no idea if this Crane Creek shock will work on my Focus. It comes with a spring but I don't know 1) if this will fit and 2) if the spring is going to be even close for my bike and weight. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm so tired of waiting for the DVO Topaz...now Dec 2021 or even into 2022! Thanks.

When I needed a drawing of the Topaz I emailed and asked. I received a dimensioned engineering drawing by return.
From that I was able to work out that the Topaz would fit. Maybe Crane Creek would oblige in a similar fashion.
I was only asking for exterior dimensions, not company secrets.

I found a basic drawing and it seems the spring might be the driving dimension. It's 54mm diameter. Looks close but I think I have 58mm and will check all positions. It comes with 500-610 spring rate (lb/in??) and there is a 400-488, 450-550 and 550-670 available. I suspect the 500-610 will be too stiff for my 150 lb weight kitted. I don't see a spring rate calculator for this shock anywhere so I'll look into that. They are in stock on Amazon for $460. but also researching feedback from users

@sdcoffeeroaster Try this spring calculator from TFTuned. I have never used it because I don't have coil suspension, but I made a copy when I saw it as I thought it could be useful. TFTuned are a good company, so the calculator should be good too.

Yes I did try that. None of these take into account the nature of the Focus Fold suspension of course. I might have found a used 210x50, recently rebuilt by DVO, for low dollars!
