Good morning, for you experts, what's the best rockshox superdeluxe ultimate 2023 tuning combo for the wild fs? Linear or progressive? Mid rebound mid compression?
Thank you

Hi, interesting question. The Wild has a very progressive leverage ratio (3.0-2.1) with impecable AR and AS values. Go linear in the first place. SD coil would be ideal, but if you want to go air go ahead. Depending of how rough your terrain and riding style is I would suggest low to mild compression. Rebound is an independent factor because is determined mainly by the spring value. Low for high spring values and mid for low. The suspension platform of the Wild is almost perfect. I’m currently very happy with the Fox DHX2 that comes with Compression Low and Rebound Medium, Rezi Medium.
hope this helps

Thank for the answer. My concerns aboit the coil shock is a review from ebike-mtb.com,that stated that coil on the wild is not the right way and switch to the air shock

Very weird review. The leverage ratio of this bike is so linearly progressive that begs a coil shock. The sensitivity of coil + progressive leverage so you don’t bottom up easily = nirvana. Both Espiñera and Carvalho from Orbea E-EWS Pro Team are using coil DHX2 on their bikes. Try it.

I know of a link that's being developed to bring the rear travel up to 165mm and the progression rate up to 34%. Really making the Wild FS a nice true enduro bike that's perfect for coil shocks.

Would you please share who makes it? Thanks
