Who Carries Battery in Back Pack?

New to forums and excited to start learning more about emtbs. I am considering adding CYC Stealth motor to my 2017 Norco Range Full Sus mtb. However the triangle is not large enough to house a battery as the rear shock takes up much of the space. Im sure I can get a small battery to be carried in a triangle bag but does anyone carry batteries in backpack or under seat etc? Thanks for the help and advice.

I do sometimes, but only as a spare. I wear rucksacks quite a lot while hiking, and don't mind it, but on the bike its a pain and I avoid it if I can.

I wonder what issues you may have with the wire connecting you and the bike?

Just my opinion, but I'd suggest looking at a dedicated ebike rather than bodging a solution which will have significant compromises. And welcome to the forum!
