Evening all,
I'm on the lookout for a bike to go alongside my Merida FS but for easy riding where the FS will be overkill & energy sapping both on the battery & myself. I have seen the Cairn brave flatbar which looks good but pretty low spec & for me the dealbreaker is the alloy fork which I think will be harsh compared to a carbon one. Part of the appeal, but not a must, is the Steps motor with the big 630wh battery which means I could swap to my lighter 503wh one for shorter rides & also use the larger one on the FS for longer rides, I know I could just upgrade the fork but is there anything else I should consider before I go for it?
Many thanks in advance
