Where is MTB journalist Steve Jones from?

Yes, he's from Monmouth; at least that's where I remember him from when I grew up nr Monmouth myself. I want to make contact with him because my Dad (sadly not with us anymore) taught him how to ride motorcycle trials back in the mid 1980's; I remember him well from then but not sure whether he will remember me.... that's what I want to ask him!!
I left Wales to go to Uni in 1988 and now live in West Sussex, so i'll not likely bump into him on any trails..
When I first saw him on YouTube a few years ago talking about MTBs I wasn't quite sure it was him...but yes it was..
Steve, if you're reading this/ someone who knows you; I'd like to make contact and tell you/ him about my Dad
