Trying to source puncture proof tyres 29 x 2.6 preferably Schwalbe Smart Sam / Nobby Nic but can’t seem to find stockists.
Any advice?

 Have you contacted your LBS? Or looked online, at the likes of.. chain reaction, wiggle, halfords, tweeks, decathlon, et al, or even amazon or eBay? maybe a simple, basic search on google will help..

Vanilla bikes often have some good deals. Dont know whether kevlar is used but most tyres come in 2 or 3 different construction grades and in general the heavier the tyre the more protection you get.

Don't bother with puncture proof tyres, just use sealant. If you are tubeless then just use a standard latex sealant (loads of them about). If you prefer tubes, then either put some sealant in the tubes or buy ready made Slime tubes.

Apart from never having a flat tyre ever again (well almost never, you may get ripped tyre walls), the benefit is that it will be cheaper and you can use any tyre you like. They will be lighter as well.

Lots of tyres have a reinforced sidewall with names like "Snakeskin" or "Protect".

I'm tubeless with sealant and apart from two tyres that failed at the bead, I've been riding for almost ten years with no flats. I've had dozens of punctures per tyre though.
