when do you all think it would be a good idea to sell my current carbon comp with 2500 miles on the engine and upgrade to a lower mile newer year model? How many miles do you all think I can get out of the engine before it is worth nothing? Thanks for your input. Ben

Guess countdown begins when varranty ends ;)
My Levo's warranty ended 5th may. 11000km, and it's currently at the LBS. They replace broken motor with new one. For warranty.
It's never good idea to sell your used ebike. Resale value is so bad.
I'm currently movin' back to manual bike. Levo stays at "wall rose", there's no point to try sell it.

When they come out with a model that is substaintially better than the current gen2.

Gen3 is the same just has geo adjust, which can be sorted on a gen2 as cant imagine the majority of riders changing geo all the time.

Even the new sram power unit, thats just recalibration to get a bit more peak power.

However, the new gasgas and the new wild, along with the crestline are interesting upgrades possibly.

you can always just buy a motor if you are out of warranty. Even if you are, probably worth speaking to LBS/spesh about a "special" price on the new motor. I certainly won't be buying a new bike just out of concern the motor might fail on the old bike.

Depends on whether you love your current ride or are itching to get new features, as the fit will be much the same (in Levo's anyway). In my case, I cannot get a 'Plus' sized tire on a new Levo, nor can I get 27.5 front and back in a new Levo. Both of these are things that I value in my current Levo.

Most importantly - if you want reliability in your Levo, drop the motor (there are 101 YouTube videos showing how) and ship it off to a bearing and belt motor rebuild shop once a year or so. There are, slowly but surely, more and more of them across the world, but it all pretty much started with this dude: eBike Motor Repairs & Servicing - Homepage
