When a fault report is a positive

On my last ride on my Whyte E160RSX I suddenly lost motor assist, the Led Remote light turned orange and Kiox 300 said "speed sensor fault".
I stopped to check the sensor and magnet. The sensor was just dangling from the chainstay. I had just turned off a single track into a field and think I ran over the remains of a bush in the long grass. It had caught the sensor cable and pulled the sensor out of its holder. Easy fix...it is only a friction hold so pushed it back in and cleared the fault using the square button on the LED Remote.
For the benefit of anyone else that experiences this, you have to switch the system off and switch back on to reset and get back to normal.
So the orange light of doom together with kiox 300 can actually be just the help you need!!
Over 1 year and 1000kms plus on this bike with zero problems electrical or mechanical .......love it!!
