Yup, I read that too. Interestingly, What3Words started advertising here in Germany recently, so you can have your words served to you in multiple languages (about 40 by the look of their site).
Middle point of Hamburg is both preoccupied.entitled.woven in English and eule.genauere.bestückt (owl.more precise.equipped) in German
I also tried with the various forms of precise:
- Genau (precise)
- Genauer, genaue, genaues (precise, declined according to gender)
- Genauer (more precise)
- Genauerer, genauere, genaueres (more precise, declined according to gender)

They use all forms except for the declined forms in masculine and feminine (-er and -e) as these can sound the same and only use the feminine form. The other forms are much easier to distinguish acoustically.

So they seem to put some thought into the issue.

Having said that, they place the middle of Hamburg incorrectly, which, officially, is the centre of a particular room at the front of the town hall (between.grudge.printing)
