What will be the best compromise for speed, size/fold and weight?

Greetings,
Why there is still no folding fast (50+ mph) bike? I suspect the issue is with price (over $5k), weight (over 30 kg) and technology to make it strong (probably folding frame can brake)
Based on the current technological skills, what is the closest bike model to this?
