What to do when battery runs flat?

I have exhausted the battery on my Levo completely on a ride.
Can I de-couple the motor?
Does it damage the motor/battery if I pedal with battery off?

The motor automatically decouples when the power is off.
You won’t damage your battery by riding the bike with the power switched off but it isn’t advisable to repeatedly drain the battery as this accelerated cell deterioration.

Running your battery down to the point the bike switches off is fine.
While riding the battery doesn't run down all the way to completely discharged. The electonics ensure it switches off well before that point so as to be recoverable. The problem with running the battery down to that point is if left it discharges further. So just get it on charge as soon as you return.

So I changed the Infinite Setting on my Levo to Eco 25/30 and Trail 60/60.
Did a 55km ride, 2h15, 900m ascent and steady western wind (coastal), and I weigh 70kg. Used Turbo only on two climbs (max 5 min).
Battery left was 3/10

Wow I can’t imagine going that far with 30% remaining

Yesterday on the group ride I did 22 miles, 2500ft, had 43% battery left at the end. That's with eco turned down to 5-10%, trail on 40% and turbo on 75%. Most of the ride was in trail, with a bit of turbo on some of the climbs, usually when I was chatting and started to run out of breath ;)

Just posted this elsewhere but at 1% the system switches off automatically, so you don't destroy the battery by using all of the fuel. The software is smart enough to handle this :) Just make sure you load it after the ride and don't let it sit around empty, cause that won't be good for the battery life.

Did a 40km ride yesterday over 4 hours (incl. some short breaks) with 1200m ascend (partly very long and steep) and returned with 36% battery. Rider weight 100kg. I guess i used Eco for 50%, Trail for 45% and Turbo for 5%.
