What is 2019 E+2 Pro battery life at various settings?

I did a 9 mile singletrack ride with 400 feet of elevation gain and I am 64kg. At max power and averaging 14 mph, I had 2 out of 5 battery lights remaining but don't think it was fully charged when I started.

I want to ride the same type of course but go 26 miles. What is the max power setting I can use? Would the second light (175%) make it? What about the third?

These are 3 of my rides in the last few days. The 8 minute one is one lap at 2.3 miles and about 100 feet gain but pedaling pretty hard and on power level 4. Takes 9% battery per lap. The 56 minute one is about 250 ft gain and a very tight trail with punchy climbs but nothing big. Took 51% battery on level 4. The 48 minute ride is another 100 ft gain on level 4 pedaling pretty decent and took 56% battery. I can usually go at least 2 times the distance on level 2 with the same battery power drain on these same trails. I can go about 22 miles at 250 ft gain on level 4 and will have one bar left and I weigh 170lbs. I have a 2019 Trance e+ 2. Hope that helps. I really think you can go 26 miles on level 2 on your trails. I haven’t ridden in the mountains yet but will report back soon with the results.

Yes, seems certain level-2 would work (175%).

I think I should do 1/2 the course and ride 12.5 miles at level-3. If I have less than 50% of the battery left when I am done, then I will know level-3 won't make 25 miles.

I could make a custom level of 200% and I bet that works.

I can pretty much do 25klm's with approx 450-500mtrs of elevation in pm 3 and get back with 2 lights of power. I weigh around 95kg plus camelbak etc. Different terrain, tyre's, pressures, inclines will all vary how much power you will use. Just use it till you run out, you will soon know how far you can push it. These are with standard factory power settings, none of that fancy App modified ones.

Last Sundays ride was a cross-country local field trail ride (and some slight suburban) after heavy rains, so mostly very muddy and wet conditions. According to Strava I did 20.27 miles (33Km) in 2h 10 mins with 886ft (300 mtrs) elevation gain with a coffee stop half way. Average speed was 9.3 mph, peak of 31.3 mph. I started at 100% battery and had 50% remaining at rides end. With kit and pack I am probably just over 100Kg (just shy of 16 stones in old money). I mostly use level 1 and 2 assistance, rarely use 3 for long/steep inclines, never use 4 or 5. All assistance levels are stock settings, not detuned in the phone app.

With a detune, I hope to push past 50 miles of trails in the dry on a full charge.

App said I used 22 percent battery. That would imply about a 30 mile range.

I noticed the app said I had 38km left but as I rode more it proved to be overstating the remaining range by 41%. It should be smarter and see how fast it has been decreasing based on your riding over the last 15 minutes and use that for better estimates.
Also it crashes when I tried to pair a HR sensor.
Also it said I climbed 1000 meters when I only climbed about 200.
Lots of bugs.

I haven't bothered much with the app as it is reportedly pretty rubbish (as you have found). I just track my rides using Strava on my iPhone for my own personal records, none of this cock waving online about how fast you are, KOM and all that nonsense. It means I have a record of where I have been and the basic statistics. The battery endurance bit I work out myself from the charge indicator in the app (before versus after riding).

I am not fast enough to brag online about my segment times but I do like to track my own effort, so I wish that the power meter in the bike would pair with my Garmin as a normal power meter. The Turbo Levo does that, but I realize that few to no other bikes do.

Tried the Giant app to log todays ride, IMO its a bit shit and needs the software rewriting. A pity, as the rest of the bike is great. Back to logging on Strava instead.

Did 23 miles across the South Downs and climbed 2800 feet of elevation and by God it was damn hot today. One climb in particular was a lung-busting killer, I thought I wouldn't make the summit.

I had de-rated each power setting to try and improve range and yes I had to work harder, I finished the ride at 41% remaining, similar to Terry on the same model bike, so now its all back to factory settings.
