I cleaned the bike just before my last trip and I noticed that the rear caliper was moving!
Both bolts were loose!!!!

I absolutely could not tell when using the bike, before or after I tightened the caliper bolts.

PS: The front was OK. :giggle:
I had the exact same thing on my bike last week. Just have to check the bolts every now and then, especially when you hear an unusual rattle. 😉

Installed a new fork with Threadless EDC. Cleaned the headset and new crease.

Tomorrow exchange the AXS 170mm dropper for the KS LEV Circuit 200mm. And setup the fork etc... Then it is time to test and have fun :p

On my wife’s Mondraker (we all know that translates as my back up bike), I fitted a piece of Hydro-turf to the downtube and moulded a small piece of Kydex over the charging plug.
Stupid place for the plug and easily falls out, so now it’s firmly in place and totally secure. I take the battery out to charge so no loss, to me, without the access.

I also added hydro-turf to my Levo carbon Gen 3.
I used the same on my old carbon Rail and it’s just an extra peace of mind.

New sneakers for my Orbea Rise M10 Tore most of the nubs off the outer edges. I guess after 1400 miles on the trails I can’t complain 🤣

Wired these beauties…
IMG_3318.jpeg

Might have found my new favorite push on: half waffle, wire grooves, decent rubber, also cheap

What grips are they?

I like push on grips and I currently use Progrip 727 ATV.
727 were my last grips on 2 bikes! Haven’t tested these new ones yet but I like the profile better since they’re half waffle compared to full.
These are Domino Atv grips.

Heard good things about this bell so I’ll give it a try.

IMG_7664.jpeg
But I didn’t expect it to weigh this much. It will replace the old jingle-bell.…

…for now.

Attempted to fit the Rockstop guard to it

Sticky pads refused to stick to the rubber on the downtube and the battery cover

So sending back to Rockstop sadly

I'll remember that saying for later use. (y)

Have been known to do something in the garage, go to bed then get up at 2am, go back into the garage, take it to pieces and do it again so it's perfect. Then can sleep.

Wife says I'm on the spectrum. Well, everybody is on it somewhere. ☺️

It’s a blessing and a curse. Some of us have it. With the slightest little noise/creak/sqeak coming from my bike I go on an endless search to find the source. It can be exhausting …I can’t stop. (I definitely need help).

The good thing though is, as you get older a certain chemical starts to deplete (she’s kinda relieved) and I can ‘walkway’ for a few hours.

Ps; did I mention we have 7 children between us …TMI 😉

Look away if you’re bothered, like I am, by this pic.
