A 10mm snap in rubber plug to replace a top motor bolt as the bracket thingy broke and spesh won’t fix a known issue !

Oneup pliers won't fit in my soon to arrive Oneup 70cc pump with EDC V2 toolkit so decided to get Knipex mini pliers which are 100mm/4" long so easy to stash.

When I first saw Knipex pliers, I thought they were just another channel lock type, but no, these German made beauties are something else! I don't have the mini yet, but need a pair.

Little tip, if you don't have a compressor or a tyre air shot inflator you can use zip ties to help squash the bead onto the rim and then you can use a normal bike pump to seat the tyre 👍

Think you need to buy a track pump next payday :). That little hand pump looks exhausting.

I like your idea but can't say I've ever struggled to fit a tubeless tyre with a track pump. A compressor or air shot isn't an essential but I think a track pump is.

To be fair to the little guy he does alright for a small pump, I usually take the wheels into work and use a compressor.

some tyre, wheel combos are difficult to seat. some wheels have a deep drop centre, if both tyre beads are in it, it can be a struggle to set the bead as air just escapes around the bead constantly.
I had this happen and could only get it to set with a compressor.

The zip tie trick is handy to know if you're in a pinch 👍

Have an Air Shot but since I bought a Topeak Joe Blow Mountain X (on special offer) haven't needed to use the Airshot, but might have just been lucky of course.

Speaking of pumps. If you want a pump that won't wear you out, fits on the bike, and is easy to use when needed, this guy has been gold:


If I lose this one, I'd buy another. I doubt it will ever break.

Bought a little USB rechargeable pump, seems really good. Comes with a little frame bag to attach it to your bike.

Will inflate 7 and a bit mountain bike tyres (29 x 2.4) from flat to 20psi on a single charge, will go up to 150psi pressure (apparently, I haven't tested it that high as I run my tyres at 20psj)

Why do you need to use a bearing press for an integrated headset cup?

Surely that's only something that was necessary on old bikes.

Edit.. Or have I misunderstood what that first contraption is?

I also got this recently, it’s an upgrade for the Fox float shock, it gives you “functional” (it’s debated how much) low speed compression cap. Still much more satisfying than the original plastic cap

I'm really confused by this, the float x that came on my cube already has the low speed compression knob, but the same float x that came on my friends specialised levo just has a black blanking off cap?

Does this mean he can take the black cap off, replacing it with the blue knob and get some low speed compression?
If so why do they blank it off at all?

Ah I see. I tend to just grease them up and push them into place by hand. Never seems to need any force.

To be honest I didn't even try to push them in by hand, the old ones were tight in the frame and needed a fair bit of tapping to get out. I doubt I would have been able to push them in by hand, either that or you're abnormally strong 💪
Or I'm a weakling 😆 either way they are in now 👍
