I highly recommend fitting one of these lockrings to your bike. It has massively reduced the build-up of mud around the front chainring of my trek powerfly

A 29 wheel and tyre for my kenevo mullet project.
Well I say wheel. I think I got the last Santa Cruz 29 30mm reserve rim in the UK and the spokes and hub from Germany.
Unfortunately SC have increased the erd by 6mm so my spokes are too short, so more ordered from Germany.

This will match up with some 29 boxxer lowers I had to order from Spain. Why can't I get parts in the UK!?

Ooooh the presents keep on coming.
A Thomson stem to replace the stock one, 15mm lower to help keep the bars about the same height for the mullet.
A quality item.

Installed Mudhugger's Front and Rear this evening ?Rear one a bit long for my liking, maybe I'll cut it later. Need to find a protector for linkage now

The BOS forks the spring is a bit light so was blowing through the travel a bit, I like the 29er front wheel & the Mezzer fork is soo good I prefer that setup so I have swapped back to 29 & currently servicing the BOS fork which is a 26” fork but had a 27.5 wheel with MM 2.35 up front

Absolutely fantastic.

This is my 6th winter using them and the 2nd pair.

Decided the Verdict on the rear is not bad, but prefer a rear-specific that hopefully won't wander so much. Plus some pads as almost down to the backing plate. Hopefully will have more luck than @steve_sordy swapping the tyres later.

100% is supposed to be good. Make sure it works with a touch phone so you can take selfies.

check that there isn’t a thick seam at the webbing of your hand. That’ll get annoying on a long ride.
Not too bothered about selfies..?( my avatar is about the only pic you will find ) ..but do take lots of pics of scenery / others riding with me ..and they are supposed to be touchscreen compatible ..will be aware of the webbing issue though ..
cheers for the feedback ..

Excitement levels at max!
Correct spokes and 29 boxxer lowers arrived.
Ordered lowers from bikeinn who use spring GDS shipping who both get appalling reviews but I can't fault, part arrived on time.
Not much work will get done today. :)

I have a pair, they're great but I'd say they're more an autumn/early spring type glove, mine certainly aren't warm enough for winter.
I bought a cheap pair of winter cycling gloves from Decathlon, they are great and much much warmer than the 100% ?

Some tubeless rim tape by DT Swiss.

To make up for the Gorilla Tape originally used. GT is easy to fit, cheap and looks absolutely great! But you try getting it off! (petrol & rags is the answer).
