@nv70 is in SwedenIt should be free, but I could name several Spesh dealers that charge for warranty work if you didn’t buy the bike from them.
It is, as far as I know, a global warranty
This is certainly my experience with specialized.I was told “if a bike shop wants to sell specialized bikes they HAVE to carry out warranty work labour free whether the bike was bought from them or not” !
I just had experience with this. Had a Levo at a local Specialized store and they charged me labor and a warranty filling charge to diagnose and repair my faulty battery. I contacted Specialized and they said that no dealer can charge labor or parts for a warranty repair. Specialized sent and email to this dealer and they refunded me. This was in the USA.I was told “if a bike shop wants to sell specialized bikes they HAVE to carry out warranty work labour free whether the bike was bought from them or not” !
They seem to go this route in most cases from what I’ve experienced. They say it’s the cable or TCU. I think they do this to try and keep from replacing batteries that are faulty right away. Seems very counter productive and more expensive for them in the long run. Specialized either has no clue how to properly diagnose these problems or they are having financial difficulties and are dodging bullets anyway they can is my opinion. I would call or email ridercare and tell them the situation. It will take a while but maybe you can get a refund and a battery sent sooner.Update how it works out. Specialized and new shop said after one month of wait its the cable, from the light codes on TCU display. Changed new cable but error codes still there. Tryied other TCU and update and config. But error codes still there. So must be battery side conection. But now shop has summer closed. So no new battery for other 3weeks at least.
And warranty work cost so far only 129euro or 140usd for me and same error codes still there

When you finally get it fixed sell it and buy a Giant or Gas Gas. They have far better rider support than Specialized.I am in Sweden soo guess worse Specialized rules and routines here than other perhaps
Not sure what kind of used market you have there but in the US new take off 500w batteries are plentiful used and cheap. You could buy one of those to get you by and to prove that your original battery is faulty.I am in Sweden soo guess worse Specialized rules and routines here than other perhaps
Giant
POTW!!!far better rider support than Specialized.
Yep I have had several different brands. When we had a issue with a motor on a Trance and a Reign Giant just said take a picture of the motor from a couple angles and then they sent motors to my LBS within a couple weeks. Every time I have a problem with one of our Levos Specialized fights me too the death for months.POTW!!!
