Hi
My wife rides a bike with a Steps-Motor. She complains it feels like something is loose (like a wiggle now and then when the assistance comes on). When I did a test ride I experienced the same thing; it felt a little like the pedal was a bit loose or had a worn bearing, or like the crank arm wasn’t bolted properly to the bottom bracket. When I had a closer look everything are bolted up nice and tight, but there are some play in the axle.. should it be like this or not? The bike have now 1.500km’s on the odometer.
She also has a problem with the computer showing the wrong speed, about 4.5 km/h faster than the actual speed (measured by GPS) and are giving the wrong value for distance traveled. This affects when the assist kicks in. Can the computer be calibrated? Or could it be set for a different wheel size than mounted (27.5 ")?
