Wahoo Roam in Flames

I bought a Wahoo Roam in January 2019 for £300 and it has now burst into flames. It was not being charged, or plugged in at the time and has left a severe scorch mark on the table.
Although the warranty expired last year, do you think I have any recourse with the store or the manufacturer?

It's worth a try, they definitely should not do that!
It could have set your house on fire!

I am very pleased to announce that Specialised of Chelmsford dealt with the problem. They returned it to Wahoo and within five working days received a reply replacing the unit.
A brilliant result and I am most pleased.
