W200 Error

My e-MTB was working fine this morning and as I went out to the gym I left it on charge for about two hours to make sure battery was full for tomorrow. When I came back to it the bike wouldn't switch on, the Steps display would came on for a second and go off,. After removing and refitting battery a couple of times it eventually powered up but now gives a W200 error. The LED on the battery is showing full charge and is not indicating any faults and the battery doesn't feel hot to touch.

Any ideas what I need to do?

Have now cleared the W200 error but bike will only power on if I remove and then refit the battery. Once powered on, if I then switch it off it won't then come back on until battery has been removed and refittted!
