Volspeed v4 not compatible with Smartphone hub?

I've got a Bosch gen4 with smartphone hub - according to this pdf and this video, it should be compatible

But here is me trying it today, instead of the expected 11kmh, I get 00kmh which means it didn't activate.

Anyone have any experience with getting the volspeed to work with the smartphone hub?

I just added a TREK Firefly FS 9 complete to the stable. It has a 2020 Bosch motor and uses a smart phone and app (COBI.bike) to monitor the thing.... I was wondering is you had any luck with your setup? I tried converting your linked document from German to English, but I still can't seem to get it to work. Do you have any updates, links, docs etc . I'm betting that you solved your setup problem (or returned the chip)

I got it working in the end. That tobias dude emailed me directly, great guy. The v4 does not require any initialisation, so act as if it's already initialised. From memory as the bike is on, put it into turbo mode, then up up down down up up and it displays 45. Works great.

Thanks for responding... YES, I got it working also. I hit 28 mph yesterday on a brief test ride. Very cool. Jeff-
