Vitus E-sommet battery supplied would be the 418wh edition with the E7000 setup
Would this affect the range much compared to the 500wh with the E8000?
Thinking of changing from my 2018 cube stereo Hybrid 140 sl for something with more reach
But that 418wh is Putting me off a little.

Interesting, I hadn't realised the base model came with a smaller capacity battery, for me personally I would want the bigger battery

Folks - I just received mine in the post from CRC (the 2019 Deore edition) and I can confirm that it comes with big the 504wH battery. NOT THE SMALLER 418wh one. Cheers. Fraz
That´s awesome, thks for clarifying…
Whats the reference number of the battery? I´m trying to get a spare one

Hey I haven’t got one but the spare battery code is Shimano E8010 for 500wh battery and i think it’s E8014 for the smaller 418wh one. Haven’t actually found any of the smaller ones for sale though.

Thks Frazer, you're right.
I've been answered in this POST.
Trying to know if the 6010 is also compatible, can be found for 200 quids less than the 8014 series, with same capacity

From my research, I dont think it is compatible mate... but if you find out otherwise give me a shout as I also saw those batteries for cheaper.

I will!

I found some info about the weights of the batteries:
BT-E8020 | 504Wh= 2900g
BT-E8014 | 418Wh= 2550g
Keeping in mind that there's almost no difference in retail price I think the biggest one is a better choice (sorry for the copy/paste from the other post)
