I posted this in another tread, but post it as a new one.
So i have a Giant Regin E+1 size M, 2022, around 26kg(57.32lb), that i have not sold yet. Now i have a Turbo Levo carbon(2023, S2) with Kindernay gear/hub.(adds some weights) about 23,5kg(51.81lb).
Want to take this weight off other places. Going to build some Chinese carbon wheels.
Soo, when i measure spoke on the Giant its 1,5mm, i think its maybe Saipem Laser and 2x, when i read about that spoke, you should not use it for anything that heavy.. and yet Giant is doing it, and with only 2x.
So i was thinking doing it also, but with 3x..? some opinion? Im not crazy downhilling, and i didn't feel giant rims to be weak, but had little time riding it.
It was "pinging" alot. I'm 76kg(167.55lb) geared up.
