Convince me not too.

I am constantly shifting through 2-3 sprockets on my GX Eagle cassette.
An 11-46t cassette is probably enough range for my e-bike. I rode an 11-42t analogue bike for a while and didn't want for a bigger sprocket very often.
A Sunrace 10 speed 11-46t weighs a few 10g less than a GX Eagle cassette.
And costs £55 compared to the GX at £150.

I know about Box Prime 9, and that looks good too. But the lighter cassette is expensive and all the parts have had availability issues every time I've looked.

Deore M5120 rear mech and a Deore or Sunrace 10 speed cassette. Available. Affordable...

Two words. Do it

I've done it and it's the best thing I did. No more dodgy shifts, cheaper, more robust. I'm only running a 11-36 until it wears out then I'll get a 11-42. Do I need the 42, no not really but it would be nice for that odd time I'm actually shagged and just feel like coasting up the hill.
