Upgrade battery

Probably be a no but, I have a stereo 140 2019 black grey. It has the 500 battery, can you convert it to a 625??

If you follow this link The eBike battery: long range, low weight, easy to charge and scroll down to the tech data section it provides the dimensions for each battery size. By the looks of it the 400, 500 & 625 power tubes are all the same size.

I don't think the 625 will physically fit.
I have a 2020 160 with a 625 battery, the holder mechanism has the option to be moved to fit a 500 battery. This is approx (meaning I haven't measured it) 50-70mm shorter than the 625.

I think the 2019's were designed around the 500 as the 625 wasn't available

just measured my 625 battery and it is 425mm long

You’re quite right, I’ve just had a CLOSER LOOK at dimensions, the 625 is circa 65mm longer then the 400/500.

If you have the standard Bosch powertube and mount, you should be able to convert it to fit a 625 battery.On my battery mount there are holes for the 500 and the 625.
It is a bit of a faf to get the whole thing out and in again, but I managed it.
If you have room at the top of your battery tube, then it will fit.
