[UPDATE]
The 300 lbs spring for my rearshock has finally come!
As stock, Mondraker Level R (size L) comes with 350lbs spring, with which I can have slightly more than 20% sag
The first thing you note when you handle it is its low weight, given both by the minor spire diameter and is total lenght (140mm instead of 175, although can grant a 79mm stroke). Because of the minor lenght, this spring comes with a 22mm spacer.
Here's the difference in weight:
RS 350lbs spring
EXT 300lbs spring
EXT 300lbs spring + spacer
This difference will be obviously negligible in riding the bike. Sag apart, I expect a certain improvement in rebound behaviour, because the hydraulic system will have to face less inertia (coming from the lower weight of any spire in movement)
Can't wait to test it, this weekend !!
