I have the Moto design Tyrewiz units which link to my Garmin and on Wednesday's ride at the end of a rocky descent I noticed that the front one was displaying 6psi below what it should have been.
So I stopped and felt the tyre, felt good but put some more air in to be safe. Display had stopped reporting this particular Tyrewiz when I checked and I was getting attached by midges so quickly moved on. Display came back up after a minute or so and was fully back to pressure, slightly above target.
10 minutes later suddenly dropped 6psi again. Ignored it. 10 minutes later back up to correct reading.
When misreporting the sensor changes the light from green to red so I am pretty sure it is the Tyrewiz rather than the Garmin.
Anyone had anything similar? Sealant? Any solutions?
It had a new battery less than a month ago so probably not that...
