Levo Gen 2 Turbo Levo Comp 2020 Frame Bearing Replacement

After 4000km I believe the frame pivot bearings require replacement. This may seem premature given the distance, but conditions have been terrible most of the time I've had this bike.
I first noted about 1 or 2mm of play in the back end. It appeared to be coming from the Extension @ Link pivot. I unscrewed the bolt and tried to spin the bearing and noticed that is wasn't rotating much at all.

Does anyone know where I can get a bearing kit for the Levo 2020 ? Delivery to England. Nothing specific is coming up.

Well after plenty of searching around there seems to be nothing on this.



Is this just something people let their bike shop deal with ?

I have a local mechanic who said he will fit the bearings if I can find and supply them.

Just done mine. There are 2 sizes, I think 6801 (horst) and 6901 (frame). You don't need a kit.

I got mine from Mountain Bike Bearings, MB Bearings , Bike Bearings Specialists , which is the only place I go now, good quality, fast delivery, reasonable price. I'd suggest buying spares too as 1 always seems to get damaged on install and has to be replaced.

Some of mine also seemed completely seized, however they seemed to move better once removed?! Some seemed A1, but I replaced them all anyway. The ones near the motor are a pain, you need a blind remover. I bought this:

Works OK.

Putting them back in with sockets/vice etc is possible but a bit of a pain. I filed down the side of a socket to centre it on the horst link. but it didnt work brilliantly and had a tendency to screw them in wonky. A proper bearing press would be ideal.

The bearings in the linkage are 6801 (On 2020 Turbo Levo). Ive just replaced one of mine as it developed play. Not sure what the other size of bearing is as not looked. Best thing to do is look at the number that printed on it using magnifying app on phone.

I got a full set of bearings for a Cube Stereo Hybrid in 2019 from this company in 2019 (£47 for 10 full complement bearings)

They didn't list a set directly for my bike but were helpful and used a layout for a similar acoustic Cube which worked OK. Fitted with a combination of sockets, blind bearing puller mentioned above, vice etc. A vernier is probably essential to find the right size sockets in relation to the bearing size - just slightly smaller so they fit comfortably on the outer race.
