So frustrated, after owning a giant trance for 2 years and no issues whatsoever with the electronics my brand new 21 specialized Turbo levo battery fails, it only has 35 miles on it. Determine if it's the battery as we took one out of my buddy's bike and mine turned on right away. Weird thing is the bike charge to 100% overnight as all four LEDs were lit on battery. Then today when I get done work I go to plug cable in the battery and nothing. Taking it back to bike shop tomorrow

Same thing happened to my battery. If you plug it in to recharge, do you get the 3rd LED just blinking on the battery? If so - it's happened to a few of us on the forums. It's a dead battery and it just gets swapped under warranty. Happened to me and I've had no issues (so far) with the new battery.

Nope, I get nothing. Plug charger into battery & charger just stays green, no led's lit on battery.

My wife's 2021 has the same symptoms, charged to 100% then first thing I noticed was a bit odd was that it hadn't auto shut down. It switched off manually OK but then wouldn't switch back on. The 3rd green light was flashing and the 4th solid. The bike then randomly switched itself back on (manually doing it still never worked) so I took a chance and installed the latest software which went OK, but the problem persisted.
After the bike switched itself back on again I took it for a 30mile blast in turbo hoping the battery would sort itself out, rode perfectly, got battery down to 35% but still wouldn't charge.
Got it booked in (almost 2 week wait for a slot) and dropped it off yesterday. Had left it unplugged but by then it was totally dead with no random switch ons.
Hoping it's just a bad battery and that they can source a replacement, it's only done 260 easy miles.

The light on my charger was red (flashing I think).

I had the exact same issue. It came and went. Incredibly frustrating as the LBS replaced other bits with no effect.

The battery even went on a special battery test thing from specialized, which reported it to be fine!!! In the end I requested the battery was replaced (as it was sometimes showing error lights on it), and I've not had a problem since.

It was confirmed this morning that my battery failed with only 35 miles of use. They are taking one out of another brand new bike as I would have to wait 3 to 5 days to get one. So I can't thank Bike line my local specialized dealer enough for helping me out

This was from a couple of months back, but Rob did an interview with Chris from Berkshire and it came up that they'd suddenly had a batch of faulty batteries.

I guess with the shortage of cells, a supplier had lessened their testing tolerances - resulting in a batch of faulty ones - and wasted cells !

My bikes been in the shop since Wednesday, they're not 100% sure whats wrong with it but think it's probably wiring harness and/or TCU, neither of which will be available for at least 2 weeks :(.
Apparently the battery is OK which I thought was odd as it wouldn't charge.
